Event Description:
What would it take to unify community leaders across South Pittsburgh (from the Flats to Brookline, Carrick to Mount Washington), get new people involved, and help them all work together? Members of Coro’s NEXT Neighborhood Leaders have an idea and they need your help.
NEXT Leaders is a part-time, year-long program designed to cultivate the next generation of community leaders. Diverse participants from neighborhoods across South Pittsburgh have been meeting weekly since October to develop their leadership and study their communities. Now they are ready to share a project idea they have begun to formulate together: A South Pittsburgh Summit to spur collaboration and engage residents. They need your input to refine and strengthen the idea. And they need your support to make it happen.
Join us on March 6, 2014, 6:30pm-8:30pm, to meet the NEXT Leaders, learn about their project idea, share your feedback, and offer a hand. We’ll have a light dinner waiting for you. Please RSVP here.
