Coro Fellows to Host Community Dialogue for Urban Affairs Week 2014
During Urban Affairs Week, Coro Fellows will spend time exploring assets and challenges, conducting independent research, and interviewing residents and organizations within the City of Pittsburgh with a focus on public safety, including:
Equitable Livability
How can all communities in Pittsburgh become a safer place to live, work, and raise a family?
Infrastructure
How can the institutions that shape Pittsburgh’s physical environment better ensure the safety of all residents?
Join us as the Coro Fellows present their findings and facilitate a public dialogue with community members like you on Friday, October 24 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. This community dialogue will serve as the culmination of Urban Affairs Week.
Seating is limited to 50 guests, so RSVP in advance.
Location: Center for Victims, 5916 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206
Light refreshments will be provided.
Coro Fellows are a cohort of 12 Next Generation Leaders who will spend nine months in a Public Affairs Fellowship in Pittsburgh. The cohort will develop their leadership skills and grow their social network while working on projects that create positive change in the Southwest PA region.
Please share our Urban Affairs event flyer with those you know.
