Become an Alumni Partner
As alumni, partnering with Coro provides you with the opportunity to strengthen your own network and the Coro community by engaging with the next generation of leaders. What is your role as a Coro alumnus?
Below are eight ways you can benefit by partnering with Coro:
1. Apply. Apply for one of Coro’s leadership programs if you have a commitment to civic engagement, are interested in new leadership opportunities, and are willing to learn. You can apply by navigating to the program of your choice and submitting an application online.
2. Nominate. Nominate someone in your network to participate in a Coro program. By nominating you create opportunities for your colleagues, collaborators and friends to realize their leadership potential and become more effective collaborators with you.
3. Mentor. Nurture others’ leadership while expanding your professional network.
4. Teach. Share your expertise and help others solve community problems.
5. Place Coro Fellows and Public Allies in your organization and connect to a diverse talent pool of civic-minded, emerging leaders.
6. Collaborate. Work together with emerging leaders to turn ideas into action. Follow Coro’s newsletter, sign on to mentor or teach, or host Coro Fellows or Public Allies to stay abreast of collaborative opportunities.
7. Participate in and sponsor Coro special events. We invite you to participate in networking events such as Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership and Diversity Awards and other special events for partners to network and explore collaborations with each other, and with Coro alumni. Look for these events listed on the events page of our website.
8. Sponsor. Endorse your brand as a supporter of next generation of leadership. Call 412-258-2689 for sponsorship opportunities.
