Event Description:
The Coro Pittsburgh Alumni Council will be holding its next meeting at the Mattress Factory from 5:30-6:30pm on Thursday December 12. This will be a special meeting for all Coro alumni interested in serving on the Alumni Council as correspondents from their own Coro class. The meeting will be held prior to unLOCKing Doors, a community fundraiser for the Door Campaign co-founded by Coro alumnus Quincy Swatson. Coro alumni interested in joining the Alumni Council will be admitted to unLOCKing Doors as guests of Coro, from 6-8pm. The Door Campaign will share their most recent project of building an AQUAPONIC green house at the Northview Heights Family Center, which continues the work started by the NEXT Neighborhood Leaders class of ’13. Come prepared to share your best example of a small-scale but high potential initiative to open doors for urban youth. The Door Campaign wants your input. To register through Coro please click here.
