The 2013 – 2014 Public Allies participants have selected the communities and have commenced a 10 month process that began with immersion into the selected neighborhoods. This current class was responsible for identifying the neighborhoods of Greenfield, the Hill District, Homewood and Lawrenceville. Utilizing Asset Based Community Development teams of 6 – 8 have immersed into respective communities to learn the history and current assets of the communities, and are now proceeding with identifying a community based organization in which they can partner to implement a sustainable project.
