Give Now

As a friend of Coro, you can appreciate the importance of experiential learning in your own journey as a leader. It takes time to develop the skills to be able to effectively mobilize others towards a shared vision for the community. The Coro program exists in order to accelerate the learning process by which young adults realize their potential and transition into leadership roles in the service of our community.

Currently, over 100 highly diverse, values-driven individuals are participating in an intensive Coro leadership program (follow the links below to get to know them better) . These next generation leaders need your support. While they are at different stages of learning, each is honing the skills, building the integrated network, and developing the hands-on experience required to tackle challenges facing our communities, such as the persistent educational achievement gap, neighborhood blight and abandonment, and developing our region’s workforce.

Coro requires a lot of resources in order to recruit participants, mobilize mentors and subject matter experts, secure experiential projects, and deliver training seminars that facilitate learning among our participants. We rely upon foundation grants (45%), Federal Government (32%), corporate contributions (11%), contracts (2%) and individual donations (2%) to underwrite our work. You can help by making an individual donation. Our goal is to raise $15,000 in individual donations by the end of June 2015.

Make a gift any time through June 30 2015 by using the donate button below.

On behalf of the next generation of leaders in our community, I thank you for your dedication and support.

Sincerely,
Greg Crowley, CEO
