Coro is currently running three part-time leadership programs:  Leaders in Learning (education), NEXT Neighborhood Leaders (South Pittsburgh), and Women in Leadership.

Participants in Leaders in Learning have finished their intensive 18-week Leadership Institute, capped by a Project Opening in which they shared a proposal for building stronger ties between schools and communities.   Since then, they have continued to develop their project, Neighborhood Nights, in which a school and neighborhood will work together to open up the school building during the evening for events to support student learning and community understanding.

The NEXT Neighborhood Leaders are in the final month of their Leadership Institute.   Having engaged a variety of stakeholders in South Pittsburgh, they are in the process of defining a group project to be shared at their Project Opening on March 6, 2014.  A location will be announced soon; mark your calendar now.

Women in Leadership launched its seventeenth class on February 6.  This was the largest part-time program start with 28 participants!  The cohort is diverse across background, sector, and interests.  Read more about WIL XVII in their bios found on the Women in Leadership Program page here.
