Hello, blog! My name is Greg Lowe. I am 17 years old, a junior at Holy Family Academy, Graduating 2019. I was born in McKees Rocks, PA and have lived there for as long as I can remember. It is where all of my memories reside.

I am a part of my school’s CIP ( Corporate internship program ) which allows me to intern for 1 day a week at a worksite tailored to my post-secondary school interests. Currently, I am interning at Coro Pittsburgh, which is where I’ll be for the whole 2017-2018 school year.

I have been a part of this program for 2 years prior and have gotten the opportunity to work and volunteer for various other organizations such as Point Park University (Where I was an office assistant, helping employees with the sorting of documents, and the inputting and collecting of data using spreadsheets)  The Holiday Project (Where I volunteered to aid in the gathering shipments of donated gifts, Wrote letters as elves to orphan children and sorted gifts by type ) Jubilee Kitchen (Where I volunteered in the preparation of meals, serving, as well as handing out clothing to the less fortunate ) Pittsburgh Community Kitchen (Where I had served as an office assistant sorting documents, researching and choosing healthy recipes for schools and formulating spreadsheets)  and even more!

Ever since I was around 8, I had a distinct fascination and passion for video games and it was around the age of 10 that I decided that I definitely want to pursue a career that primarily involves games. I wish to pursue a career in game design/development. My school offers a few programs that give me the opportunity to preemptively learn computer science coding languages, such as javascript, that I am currently involved in. However, I plan to expand my knowledge in these fields in college. I am currently interested in attending 1 of 2 colleges. These two are CMU and Full Sail University.
