Next Neighborhood Leaders provides opportunities for emerging leaders living or working in particular local communities to explore leadership opportunities in community and economic development. The current geographic focus is South Pittsburgh.

The key problem identified by Next Leaders South Pittsburgh is inadequate coordination and cooperation between the many community groups, resource providers, and organizations in South Pittsburgh neighborhoods.  In order to help address this challenge, Next Leaders South Pittsburgh are hosting a unique event to bring community leaders and residents from across South Pittsburgh together to begin answering the question: How can we break down the barriers to collaboration in South Pittsburgh?  Next Leaders South Pittsburgh hope this event will also engage community members who are not currently involved but want to learn how they can help.
